Nothing can fully prepare you for the exhilaration of watching your dream home come to life. Perhaps the most difficult part of the is waiting until the actual major construction to start. At the start it may appear as though not much is happening at your homesite. However this is when much of the behind the scenes work takes place—securing permits, finalizing plans, distributing blueprints to plumbers, electricians and framers, as well as ordering materials.

Don’t worry though within a couple of weeks your home site will be humming with activity. Here is what to expect over the next several months:
